Want to work in a fun, fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a full time Business Director to work alongside a team of passionate beer loving individuals.


The Business Director is responsible for influencing business decisions with impactful, fact driven insights. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a collaborative working style and possess a focus on partnering with the Company’s operations team, brewing team, and Tasting Room team. This role is primarily involved in day-to-day bookkeeping, monthly forecasts, and the reporting and analysis of monthly financials.

Reports to: President

  • Manages day-to-day bookkeeping for accounts payable and receivable, maintain relationships with a variety of vendors and our distribution partners.
  • Manages the monthly financial reporting process, including the creation and review of the P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Leads hop contract forecasting, assists in ingredient ordering, and manages packaging material sourcing and supply.
  • Responsible for preparing bi-weekly payroll and employee reimbursements
  • Is fully responsible for asset oversight and management
  • Participates in the preparation and compilations of reported audited financial statements.
  • Interprets and applies policies and procedures according to GAAP.


  • Quickbooks intermediate to expert level of competency
  • Able to quickly learn the Company’s payroll platform, inventory management system, POS systems, and online workflow tools.
  • Microsoft suite, specifically Excel for report generation


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or business
  • 5+ years’ of managing small to medium sized business finances and books
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
  • Detail focused and high standards for accuracy and precision.
  • Understanding of financial analysis and accounting policies, procedures, programs and processes.
  • Ability to manage numerous tasks and projects simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment and interact effectively with other groups and departments, clients and partners.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and be open to feedback to improve individual performance.

BEERTENDER (see details below)

The Tasting Room is open Wednesday and Thursday from 4-9pm,  and Fridays and Saturdays from 12-10pm, with the occasional weekday for private events. Beertenders must be available to work from one hour before through one hour after closing time for their scheduled shifts.

Applicants must be 21+ years of age and have the following qualifications:

  • 1+ years working in a restaurant or bar.
  • Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Routinely lift over 50 lbs.
  • Display strong and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Assist with setting up and taking down all Tasting Room furnishings.
  • Provide exceptional service to all Great Raft guests
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations with regard to the selling of alcoholic beverages.
  • Must have successfully completed Cicerone Beer Server certification or be able within 30 days of start date.
  • Must have a valid Shreveport ABO card, or be able to obtain one within 2 weeks of start date.
